What We Offer

Ripple Environmental Inc. primarily works with First Nation governments on environmental stewardship, relationship building, and strategic initiatives. We are an environmental-based consulting company committed to working with communities to uphold their rights and title, protect their values and represent and pursue their interests and priorities to the best of our ability. Our work necessitates us working and thinking outside of the box.

Environmental Stewardship

We'd like to learn what environmental stewardship means in your context. We have experience reviewing, developing and implementing plans and projects related to monitoring, research, ecosystem restoration, rights-based resource harvesting, and other initiatives. Our work centers inherent and constitutionally-protected Indigenous and Treaty rights through the protection and restoration of biodiversity and ecosystems. We primarily focus on marine and aquatic ecosystems.

Strategic Initiatives

We can help identify and support strategic planning and implementation of rights-based initiatives, including advancing the principles of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP). This could involve co-management and collaborative decision-making processes, protected area planning, and others.

Consultation Support

We strive to maintain productive and collaborative relationships with proponents while remaining grounded in the community interests we represent. We have experience engaging deeply with different federal and provincial departments. Consultation support can range from project-specific to policy advocacy and legislative reviews. Our consultation services are a bit unique from a consulting perspective - please contact us to learn more.

Climate Action

We can support with various aspects of climate action, whether you're looking to plan on-the-ground projects, pursue climate resiliency planning, or engage in advocacy. We uplift Indigenous rights, voices, and leadership in our climate work.
